About the artist: I've always loved all kinds of art ever since I was a little girl but my favorite love is sketching. I come from a family of artists. My uncle was a fine artist and won numerous blue ribbons in art fairs/shows. He has several paintings in various museums all over the US.
In late September 2010, I found out I was losing my sight. I vowed to share my love of art with as many as I could as much as I could. I was diagnosed being blind in my right eye and severe low vision in my left eye. I never knew that my vision was that bad - probably because it came on slowly and I always compensated for the lack thereof. My sight impairment is correctable through expensive surgery but when you can't afford surgery, what do you do? You turn to doing what you love the most to help not only yourself but for the dogs you so love - Greyhounds.
My artwork is simplistic but realistic done in graphite or in charcoal. They make a wonderful gift for all occasions and add a nice touch to any decor. Ordering and pricing can be found below. Don't forget to check out my sketch portfolio as well. I have to use some sight aids such as glasses, a magnifying glass lamp and a oversized monitor to sketch by. Although my photographic skills are probably lacking in quality - I can assure you that you will be very pleased with your actual real life sketch.

Email me with a picture of the pet you want sketched. All breeds are welcome. Include name of pet, breed, your name & the best way to contact you (email &/or phone). Yes, we can sketch kitties, too!
Provide important information in your email (no collar, add collar, add toy, 1 dog, 2 dogs, etc) so there will be no miscommunications between the artist and you.
IMAGE TIPS: The larger the image, the more detail is visible. Please - no small or tiny images and do not crop. Make sure the picture you send has a complete picture of the dog's face in it and is not exceptionally dark or blurry. If you are unsure of the size or picture quality, go ahead and send it. I will work with you on determining whether or not the picture is suitable for me to sketch from.
Once artist has been commissioned, you will be sent a DEPOSIT INVOICE VIA PAYPAL when artist is ready to start your sketch. Make non refundable deposit via paypal, personal check or money order to reserve your order.
A FINAL PAYMENT INVOICE WILL BE SENT VIA PAYPAL once your artwork has been completed and a preview picture has been sent to you. Final payment less deposit is due before shipping of actual artwork takes place. Final payment must clear first.
