RAFFLE RULES

RULES for GREYHOUND AFFAIR RAFFLES

Tickets are virtual tickets and when purchased, your name will be added to each ticket you purchase.
 

Ticket prices are as follows unless otherwise stated for multiple prize raffles:

one ticket = $2 each

six raffle tickets for $10 (1 free ticket included)
twelve raffle tickets for $20 (2 free tickets included)

thirty raffle tickets for $50 (5 free tickets included)

seventy five raffle tickets for $100 (7 free tickets included)

one hundred fifty raffle tickets for $200 (14 free tickets included)

Pay pal, e-checks and credit cards accepted via pay pal.  Please use the pay pal raffle buttons.

    Personal checks and money orders are welcome, too.  Please see address below on where to mail.  Please note - all e-checks, personal checks and money orders are subject to clearance before raffle ticket(s) are issued in buyer's name.  If a personal check, e check or money order does not clear, buyer will be subject to a $35 return check fee payable immediately upon notice.

    ALL raffle ticket purchases should be made with the intent on helping the group financially and winning a prize.  Raffle ticket purchases will NOT be made in lieu of adoption fee's, transport costs, etc. for an individual dog from the group who the raffle is for.  Adoption fee's, transport costs, etc. are all considered separate transactions between the individual party and the adoption group.  We will not be a part of those separate transactions.  Our sole intent is to help raise sufficient funds to help the adoption groups who have a financial need and to provide prizes to the winner(s).

    Winning ticket will be drawn by an independent party not associated with Greyhound Affair within 48 hours after raffle ends.  Winning ticket notification will be made via email only no later than 5 business days after the raffle ends.  Winner will have 5 days to respond to our winning ticket notification.  In the event, the winner does not respond, does not want the raffle prize or does want to not donate the item to a specific group, another ticket will be drawn to determine the winner.

    Winner agrees that Greyhound Affair can display their name on the Greyhound Affair website and announced to the various lists that the initial raffle announcement was posted to.

    Shipping will be provided by either UPS Ground or by USPS (whichever Greyhound Affair chooses) and paid for by Greyhound Affair.  Please make sure your shipping address is correct.  Addresses must contain a physical street address.  UPS does not deliver to PO Boxes.  Split shipping may occur if there are small items and large items being offered up for raffle.  If an item is donated by a third party, shipping their item up for raffle will be at their discretion.

    In the event that our advertisement is delayed in being posted or does not post to all the lists in a reasonable amount of time, we reserve the right to cancel the current raffle in fairness to everyone.  If this happens, all monies received will be refunded to each party who participated.  In the event the raffle does not raise $300 or more, Greyhound Affair reserves the right to cancel the current raffle for the group recipient in fairness to everyone.  The intention of our raffles is to raise sufficient funds for the group recipient and to have at least one winner.
