Where there's a will - there's a way......
Racing Home Greyhound Adoption in Phoenix, Arizona has actively taken in dogs from the Tucson Greyhound Park for quite awhile now. Finally, they have reached the point to where a kennel was needed to help with incoming dogs going into adoption. Foster homes are full and there's a long waiting list of graded off dogs still waiting in racing kennels that need to be moved. In fact, Racing Home has an entire page on their website dedicated to the graded off Tucson dogs waiting in the wings.
Finally, a building was located to serve as a kennel but funds are greytly needed to buy the materials to convert it. Volunteers will be providing the man power to do the conversion to save on cost. The faster RHGA can get it converted and ready to house the dogs safely, the faster they can get the graded off dogs out of the racing kennels and into the *Half Way House* kennel. The Half Way House will serve as their temporary home until an actual foster home opens up. They will be medically evaluated, assessed behaviorally and begin their socialization training at the Half Way House all done by caring volunteers of Racing Home.
The Half Way House is a positive approach to helping out the dogs in Tucson who have long needed someone to step up to the plate. This positive approach will aid Racing Home Greyhound Adoption to take in more dogs, assess them and get them prepared to grace their own couches with their new families.
So, if you can spare a couple of dollars towards this raffle, it would be so greytly appreciated by all the Tucson dogs who are patiently waiting to spend their retirement days on a couch being pampered by a person who loves them.

You will also help out the dogs who are looking forward to their retirement. The Half Way House will be one step closer to making their dream come true.
